Welcome to Grieghallen
– an icon in the heart of Bergen.

Grieghallen is named after Norway’s most famous composer, Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), who was born and lived in Bergen. Grieghallen has been a landmark in Bergen since 1978 and has housed major events such as the Eurovision Song Contest and the annual Festspillene i Bergen (Bergen International Festival). In addition, Grieghallen is a fully developed course and conference centre right in the heart of the city.

With its central location, Grieghallen is close to most of – and the best of – everything that Bergen’s city centre has to offer. You can find hotels, excellent restaurants, and shopping opportunities nearby. Grieghallen’s large car park under Edvard Griegs Plass makes it easy to come by car, and arriving by public transport is also straightforward, as Grieghallen is within walking distance of both the bus station and the train station.
